It was so nice to get this morning and play some WOW..and then as morning turned to afternoon... I realized that it was Tuesday. It was Tuesday morning and I was playing WOW. O...Happy Day. No maintenance today. No rolling restarts. It was decidedly, unTuesday-like... and then I had the feeling that there was something that I was supposed to be doing but wasn't. And I realized I was letting my guild members down by not updating the Web site.
I felt bad. I got over it, but I did feel bad.

Enough about my paltry emotions: The Crew is experiencing a somewhat unpresdidented growth spurt, thanks mostly to Mehofjack. Who must really want to do 25 mans, because he is averaging something like one-and-half new members per 48 hours.

Recent recruits include: Carminee, lvl 80 Hunter; Stareeanna, a lvl 80 Mage; Sturmtiger, a lvl 80 Warrior; Klaudnye, lvl 80 Hunter, Viz, lvl 78 Rogue; Hiddenbullet, a lvl 74 Hunter; Stubbymate, lvl 71 Mage; and Cheye, a lvl 72 Warrior who join other recent additions, Dniulife, Marashon, Metlhylid, Yulia, Dedlyshade, and Deathtank, who are all new to The Crew in the last 3 weeks.

Welcome all!!!! I hope you find The Crew to be a happy and productive place to play. We do our best to have "Good players, and great people."

Prior to all the new folks, we had stopped scheduling 10-man Naxx raids. I would be more than happy to put a few Naxx nights back on the calendar in addition to the weekly scheduled Wednesday Night Raid, which is Ulduar. I am not sure how many of the new folks have seen all of Naxx, and they might want to. Those fights are fun. Of course OS and VOA, as well as 5-man TOC are always possibilities too, I just don't put them on the calendar anymore. So if you want to go to Naxx please let me know. In fact.. "I want to do Naxx" or "I don't want to do Naxx" are this weeks Phrase that Pays. Everyone who whispers one of those phrases to me will get 3g. Only one winner per account.

And hey folks don't forget to farm and stock the guild bank with Alchemy mats, ore, leather, meats, fish, scrolls, and chanting mats. Its those mats which allow us to support raids. The food buffs, the flasks, and feasts help us all. What helps the guild, helps us all.

Wednesday Night: 10 man ULDUAR. Let's kick some ass.

There is much news since my last post, so stay with me.

After a productive and heartening meeting two weeks ago, The Crew is better positioned to continue progressing through the game. During the meeting a number of topics were brought up, which will bubbling under the surface, they were addressed and hopefully problems were rectified.

One bit of sad news, was that we would be losing Eshrunalle and her alts. She has found it necessary to change her playing focus to better fit into her real life. We wish her well and if she wants to she is welcome back at any time.

Changes in the game have made it possible for smaller guilds like us to raid a lot less than we were in the past. As such we took a vote and Crew members have decided to make Wednesday night raid night. As such, we will be raiding Ulduar on Wednesday night from 9 to 2ish server time, which is 12 to 2 a.m. ET. Henceforth, Wednesday night will be raid night.

The phrase of the Week: The phrase of the week is "We wipe on trash!" Everyone who whispers the phrase to me (Kevoogre or Tieghernan) will receive 3 gold. One winner per account. No, you don't get 3 gold per character.

New Members: While I was away on vacation we have been busy recruiting new members. Please welcome the following folks to The Crew: Methylid, a lvl 80 human priest; Marashon, a lvl 80 gnome Warlock; Yulia, a lvl 80 Draenei Shaman; Dniulife, a lvl 80 Daenei Shaman; and welcome back Ilthantwo, a lvl 80 Night Elf Death Night. Ilthantwo had been a member of The Crew a while back but had to leave because he could not make our raid times.
